Product description
ArmaSound RD is a universal sound absorbing material designed for a variety of applications. The current insulation structure of ArmaSound RD is the result of many years of research. ArmaSound RD not only absorbs sound very efficiently, but also reduces noise transmission, dampens vibrations and insulates. The acoustic properties of ArmaSound RD r vary depending on the choice of layers, density and thickness. The best results are achieved by choosing the right type of material for the type of noise. The ArmaSound RD structure can also be adapted to specific needs by optimizing absorbent properties and adapting to a specific noise frequency.
Sound absorption
- the structure of open cells with complex geometry enables effective absorption of air noise in a wide frequency band;
- the unique combination of physical characteristics allows to increase noise absorption for individual "onerous" frequencies.
Noise reduction
- relatively high density and high attenuation factor have the advantage of reducing transmitted noise;
- A suitable alternative to complex multi-layer foam barriers.
Vibration damping and insulation
- visco-elastic properties support suppression and silencing of resonance in metal structures (e.g. housing and glass), which reduces the re-emission effect;
- used as an insulating undercoat reduces structural noise transmission.
